Dude, I see other red heart setups being played all the time, especially if they're double points. I don't see why they're not joining them.

the only other setup that is hosted somewhat frequently other than FP is Coco's Epic setup & that's an even worse setup.

They continue to pile up endless games of FP and shoving the other setups to the next page. They ignore- no they refuse to play these setups because they find FP so simple. Then, when they join comp, they cry about getting flamed at, when honestly its their fault for taking that gamble. They should know FP isn't the same as comp games.

shamzy if your arugment was "FP players should play competitive setups in red heart so they understand the basic mechanics of the setups & are less likely to make mechanic based f-ups when they reach comp games"

that would be a valid argument, but..

no one hosts these setups regularly in training lobby so the only alternative is if people want to play comp they have to well, play comp.

Right... because I'm able to remember what setups I played 4 years ago. I know I started off with classic. I didn't go from classic to comp as soon as I hit 1.5k

I've tried being polite about it. But their response is always that they believe they didn't do anything wrong and "played right". They could genuinely be believing that even if others continue to tell them the same thing. Sometimes they end up flaming which is why I'm done with helping them. If they want help they can find a mentor or stop making such a huge step (from FP to comp).

I used to kindly PM new players who made mistakes, informing them of what they did wrong in games. But then I realized they're all just weareking, rednose, prevail GT alts

The only thing reporting new players does is deter them from playing ranked games at all. This may be shocking news, but not only you does a comp lobby make, Shamzy.
