The Troll - This is the person who has no intention of taking the game at hand seriously. Even after being told to "STFU" a dozen times and annoying every player in existence, they continue to troll relentlessly until they're either A) killed or B) the game ends. Many times, trolls never get reported but when they do, it doesn't warrant a ban so they continue to perform their misdeeds.
The Lurker - This type of player has a chronic illness of lurking and tends to lurk in mostly all of their games. They offer little contribution to their team and avoid ISP reports because lurking is apart of their play style. The chronic lurker either ends up banned for ISP or eventually changes their ways because playing mafia without talking is pointless.
The Vegger - This is the person who vegs whenever something goes wrong. They could be throwing for another player or maybe they fked up and want to save everyone from the loss. Whatever the reason is, they suicide in order to solve the problem at hand. Chronic veggers are usually part troll and end up banned after repeated offenses.
The Jock - This is the player who think he's the hot stuff and knows how to play mafia better than anyone else in the room. This player likes to take command and lead the town, even if they are mafia. They like to claim authority because they are egotistical and think that they're better than the rest of the scrubs they have to put up with it.
The Runner - This is the player who takes mafia seriously like it should be taken. These players play mafia with their lives on the line. Each loss is like shooting a bullet to their head. It hurts and they do their best to avoid losses. But at the end of the round, only few runners have what it takes to rise to the top. This makes those who failed feel like trash and they blame their loss on other players such as the troll, the lurker, and the vegger. Runners tend to dodge these players to avoid placing the blame on people but you can't dodge all the time.
The Dodger - This person is a very picky player. This player dodges anyone they dislike or they feel will ruin their chances of winning. This person has a strict agenda and will not tolerate trolls, lurkers, or veggers. Unlike the runner, the dodger does not care about competitions and winning trophies. Instead, they only care about playing a good old fashion game of mafia without any idiots or disturbances to ruin their game.
The Noob - The noob is a player who's fairly new to mafia and just started. These players are typically identified as "No Avis". The Noob is treated differently in game and is expected to mess up or make mistakes. Noobs either quit playing mafia altogether or they stick with it and eventually move up the ladder.
The Nobody - Nobodies are people who aren't anything. Their sole purpose is to fill up the room. They are average players who's name and face you don't remember after the game is done. These players make up the masses of EM.
The Celebrity - These are players with an edge. They are well known throughout EM. They could be well known moderators, politicians, trolls, forumers, or trophy winners. For one reason or another, these EMers are more popular and well known throughout the site and usually, they have more experience playing mafia as they had to have been here long enough to gain celeb status.
The Mentally Challenged - These are the people who've spent most of their lives playing Sandbox or unranked games and never really building a profile or stats for themselves. They may be well known in their communities but they have nothing to show for all of their achievements. The Mentally Challenged are great in number but small in power. But without them, EM wouldn't have a place for banned users to go to.
wow this list is really not what i was expecting. all you needed was 'mentally challenged' and i **** you not you would have described 95% of ppl here including yourself OP
And what do we have here? Just a butthurt nobody whining that he doesn't have a higher ranking in the caste system of EpicMafia.

Harrold, IMO your stereotype is the nobody. You've been on EM for 2 years and you still only have 30k points. That's more than enough time to at least reach 80k. On the forums, I'd say you're an intellectual. You have a bigger forum rep than game rep.
Also there aren't even many forum stereotypes. there's really only commoner, troll, intellectual, moderator, circlejerk, complainer, and mentally challenged.
Then it wouldn't be fair to a lot of people. Not everyone has one set trait on the forums. Some people are both trolls and commoners. Others are trolls and intellectuals. While some are none. And none are all!
The Jock: Devante, Pranay The Celebrity: SuperNova The dodger: Giga The troll: MeetTerry (old times), Betrayal (sometimes) and various others The runner: Connor and his alts The mentally challenged: unknown The lurker: Orly, Althea, BillyRuben etc etc etc The nobody: who remembers him?
Almost...

You should do this for forum poster stereotypes.

You don't have 'The Socialiser' for people like Gloria and Harrold who only join games to chat.
You forgot to vote in the poll. This thread is for research and statistical purposes.

The Mentally Challenged - These are the people who've spent most of their lives playing Competitive or ranked games and never really having fun or respect for themselves. They may have pixels on ruby mafia but they have nothing tangible to show for all of their achievements. The Mentally Challenged are small in number and also small in power. But without them, EM wouldn't have a place for nerds to go to.
Nah you're just a butthurt Sandbox player who wasted their lives playing unranked with nothing to show for it.
The only way to settle the feud is for the mentally challenged of Sandbox to accept the fact that Competitive players are better than them and that they are inferior to us.

not really, no. good luck with your thread, betrayal.
No, not bad at all. Sandbox players are just tired of being seen as inferior because they caste away from the main branch of EM players and hide in their own little corner away from the general population. They wish they were the sht and they wish they got the same attention and publicity as the competitive players but they don't. Therefore, they are jealous and scrutinized and forced to caste away even further down the hole of the Sandbox and Survivor community. It's an ongoing feud between the two opposing forces that has been going on for years.
