I heard a girl crying in the library stairwell once and stopped to ask if she needed me to get a friend.

Turns out she was on the phone and she has a really sniffly laugh.

One time I saw an old man pulled over almost into the ditch with his head down so I stopped to make sure he didn't have a heart attack and he was using his GPS.

I probably would, depending on how worn out the guy looks.
