Am I the only one who seriously thinks we need to separate the Main Lobby in two?
One half should be Main Lobby, for new players below, let's say, 100 wins, and the other half should be the Competition Lobby, where everybody over 100 wins would play.
Point is, Main Lobby would have only Classic, Fancy Pants, Coco's, and maybe Fool Training whereas Competition would feature the more advanced setups like Janitorial.
There are a couple of things this would accomplish. The first would be that noobs wouldn't ruin ranked games. The second would be that FP won't be endlessly spammed, making, say, Janitorial, unable to fill. The third would be that Competition would be the place where every competitive game would go, meaning comp games won't be ruined anymore by people with 30 wins or so who don't know the setup (I was one of them at one point).
So who likes this idea?

Clearly you weren't on epicmafia during the merge of lobbies, when it would literally take an hour to fill 1 comp game which would probably veg

forcing people into competitive lobby and not allowing them in the beginner lobby are both bad ideas
forcing people into competitive means they may not be ready yet or don't want to get into more serious games
keeping people out of main means they're not able to play there with friends in nonserious setups, etc
But yeah otherwise I think the training/competitive lobby was a better setup than having them mushed into one
This bad idea is just going to force bad players to delete and remake accounts after they have played 200+ games because they will not leave that sh**ty setup.
Of course it was an old idea rehashed, jeez. It was once like that, but there were problems, namely because most people didn't join Competitive and remained in Main.
But the new stuff about this is that it enforces game quality due to the 100-win rule, it prevents people staying back in Main as anybody over 100 wins would be restricted from staying in it, and thus would ensure a variety of setups which yes, Emmer, I have not participated that much in, but that's because of the omnipresence of FP here.
And if anybody over 100 wins still likes FP more, maybe there can be a strictly Fp/Classic/Fool Training lobby but restricted to those under 100 wins.
Please keep in mind this is just my personal opinion, the mods are the ones who actually know what's good for the site, but this is a suggestion which I believe is necessary to EM.
