Friends, it is obviously an issue at this point, so I'm going to just state a solution to this goddamn idiocy that is plaguing the EpicMafia community: get rid of the ****ing downvote option.
For those of you saying, "It shouldn't be an issue, grow up, etc." I have this to say: shut up. Gay marriage shouldn't be an issue. Logically, it makes no sense that it is. Accept the fact that there are some things that make complete sense to one side, but negatively affect the other. So get off of your pretentious a** and be a part of the solution.
To those of you who are intentionally downvoting player's comments: why? State over and over again that it isn't a problem, that it shouldn't be a problem. I don't care. But answer it. Why? You're literally just looking for trouble, and know that if you harass people in any other way, you will get banned. So you go about it "lawfully."
News flash: a lot of us are sick of it. New players are intimidated by those of you who spend you're entire time putting others down. My girlfriend hasn't been on the site in weeks because she hates the majority of the players here. And why? Because many of you are excessively rude and disrespectful for absolutely no reason.
Sign the petition to take away the power to "lawfully" harass others.
Look, Dibbun isn't actually the problem. I hate to say it, but with the current rules, he has every right to do what he does. Asking him politely to stop obviously doesn't work, and he's not exactly being very considerate... however, the issue is a system that makes it possible for players to lawfully harass others.
People are not excessively rude or disrespectful in unranked games or sandbox. However, there is a certain standard in ranked games. I get chewed out all the time in golden heart games, and as such I don't play those setups as much as others. Basically if you cannot handle ranked games, don't play them. There is no reason to play ranked unless you are ready to play by standards, otherwise you will rightfully be told to GTFO.
The down vote option is great, especially for posts that are wrong or inappropriate because it allows for the post to be hidden. Why is it us older players can accept it, but you newer ones are so determined to change things. Things were better back in the older days.
