I'm Hollywood and I've played EM for about 5 years. I've had some really good games, some really $#!& games, and a lot of the in between. I've been vio'd more times than I can remember, and have definitely closed a tab thinking "#%$! mods! #%$! these mods! who the #%$! picks these idiot mods?"
As of about 2 hours ago, I am an idiot mod.
Now, I've really come to love this game and this community, both old folks and new folks. This is my chance to do good on top of that, if the community is willing. I'd like to be unbiased, consistent, honest, and most of all friendly. If you don't like the way I've handled something, there's always an opportunity for discussion. Always.
Kicking thing off right away, I made this thread specifically to ask what things you guys want to see improvement on from the moderating team, or even just EM in general. I'd like to focus on these things in particular while I'm a mod. Also feel free to ask me anything, I'm an open book.
But for starters, here's an FAQ.

yeah, i dont take threads from mods lightly buddy, there's a reason they went to med school for 10 years, its to be taken seriously, so don't tell me to take threads from epicmafia.com mods lightly, pal.
I get simple-minded people telling me I'm wrong and crying about my posts, but you whose opinion actually holds value should at least state what you think I'm wrong about.

You know posts like these are why there's a section of the list devoted for people like yourself who I've never seen intelligence from. Some people have gotten out of this section while people like yourself are doomed to stay in it.
I want the mods to stop cracking down on comp while at the same time ignoring red hearts and point farmers. Mods should be subservient to the game on a game related site, not the community that plays the game on said game related site.
However I realize that's beyond your capabilities so just do your best to preserve whatever integrity you see in games being played.
To be honest it's really up to the players that are worth a damn to kill of the pandering to clears meta that's plagued this sites since the lobbies were originally split. It's the only way people will be capable of growing while playing this game without feeling the need to resort to cheating or some other form of abuse (looking at pranay) and achieve reliable success in town games.
