There was also no reporting or banning back then so no one got punished for vegging out of a game or saying nothing and ruining games for other people. Which led to noavis being really hated.
It was at the dawn of epicmafia. We had a small community and we mostly all knew eachother and played together.
Then, lucid advertised the website on a facebook game (?) called Facebook Mafia, and there was an influx of really bad players who would say nothing all game (which was the dominant strategy over at Facebook Mafia). They were recognized by their lack of avatar, as the people who actually tried to play would also make the effort to upload an avi (or get berated into uploading one).
Oh lawd. I remember Aimee and Jaguar I believe. I was TheBigSexy and Knicks, and something before that I can't remember! Started playing in high school...I'm now 24.
