i think every current mod should be forcibly exposed to the discography of foster the people and only be able to escape if they willingly resign. you'll keep some real tough people that way.


their second album really was trash. also live mark foster was high as a kite and kept kicking people off of their instruments so he could play them himself


all their albums have been bad. i hated their first one and only trudged through the second since "best friend" was a really good single imo.


i liked their first one, mostly due to being young & into that "indie-pop" scene at the time, but also because Houdini was the best song on the most recent SSX game

also while i'm thinking about it, "Optimistic" is my favorite radiohead song of all time and easily one of my favorite songs of all time generally speaking.
