Anthony as a Mod

Anthony is a good guy, an amazing player, and probably a good mod. However, I think it's important to enforce a no-tolerance approach on cheaters as mods.

He's done some stuff that's annoyed me during games, but there is no denying that he's mature and has the capacity to reason objectively. Why are we even having this discussion? He's not even been modded 24 hours. I'm sure he'll do well.

Well sure... but the fact is that that Sonseray is just a troll, so I'm pretty sure he's not expressing himself with much honesty when he makes a thread like this. In truth, he probably has no problem with Anthony's modship. Even though I agree with you, I'm sure this has crossed his mind but he decided to be a turd anyway.

there's no argument to be made about poor decision making because if we removed all mods who had made poor decisions at some point we'd literally have no mods

there's only a draconian "all cheaters must be punished forever" component which is both detrimental to the site and incredibly naive and foolhardy of you as a person


Yea, we had a guy that caused 7 years of history to be deleted because he didn't agree with a mod/admin? He was allowed back, why should we hold anyone accountable for their actions at all?

This is crap. I've won people trophies through sheer effort (or lack of). Without needing to play with a bias or role share. When you're actually good at this game controlling outcomes is real simple, especially when someone else winning or losing is the only thing as stake.
