okay i really don't care about the refund that much since i can't trophy, i just get to play one more game I just wanted to rustle some feathers. But don't have two mods who don't know much about refunding handling refund cases because if they mess up like they did you get some angry citizens

One small criticism with the current system is that almost everything now is heavily dependent on mechanics rather than actual moderation, and I wonder if eventually all the new mods will only know how to use Monocle. They won't know how to moderate anything themselves. I'm probably concerned about nothing but in my opinion I'd be less dependent on a bot, since it also could crash at anytime or have any programming errors

Hey, I have a new idea to reconstruct the current refund system. Instead of doing a round where people play games, the mods can just pick 3 trophy winners and then we just wait 9 days anyway. I mean if they're deciding what is and isn't refunded on a case by case basis even in the face of self-evidently malignant intent by banned users, we might as well just go all or nothing right?
they're both new mods so I wouldn't be so hard on them. I think having someone a bit more senior work through a few refund cases with them first would be ideal, but I give them credit for tackling a refund case in the first place considering they have about a combined experience of 1 month.
So what happens is when you click refund it automatically does it from my account and writes the reason with the mod who did it, and the "backers" they put in the thing, along with the reason.
So Uprizzle just didn't know he was only one of 3 needed, and considered himself a "backer" .. he didn't actually type out his name twice on the thingy or anything, it's just that his name was on the mod action by default since he was entering the info. That also explains for you why one of them is capitalized and one isn't.
