Daystart qoute = mafia

PainFoinmrover 11 years ago

How does that work? There is no logic behind it, but whenever someone catches me qouting something in daystart, I am always mafia.

If you start out saying "I am mafia, pick me. I promise I'm not town" they might think you are mafia.
Just a tip.

quoting at daystart is more likely than not a scum move

its just something that I've put in my brain as "NEVER DO THIS AS SCUM" which is easier than trying to pretend that you play the same way as scum that you do as town because thats not true at all.

When you don't know your role, you act the way maf would. Moreover, for an isp player like you, you always deserve to get lynched. A player who does not know his role should not even play.
Weird, you would think not knowing your role would encourage a reason to not PR/ partner read and give you more merit to be town.

Nothing is. We all know that. You are mafia for stating the obvious.

What do you base your reads on then? You shouldn't be doing this seeing as you've yet to win a game when I've picked you out as town .
Nothing, I wait for cop reports.

This is actually true, it might not work with 100% certainty but it's a good thing to put towards an fos. There will be players of course like agentzero who try to appear scummy because he's a nerd loser overlord which is why you need to base your reads off more than just this

I quote when town now always

Every one thinks they do the same thing as scum and town.but they never do. Even if you say the same thing, you will be saying it in a different way or timeline. The time gap between your reactions tell whether it was genuine or not. Every person who scumtells as town is most likely not trying to win. That happens when you want someone else to win. You try to lose as maf and you end up town telling. April recently scumtold as town to help Sarah win.
What if I sometimes (after longer days) am surprised to find myself in maf meeting? I really tend to forget my role - that helps me always act the same.

you don't think. It's how you behave when you are not thinking. It is known as active lurking.

Reactive daystarts are a slight scumtell. Basically what Connor said; it suggests you're being conscious of how you appear to others in game.
Lel but I don't even think that far. I don't even pay attention to what I am saying (cause that's how I play as town).

cuz u waited before talking so you didn't talk too soon and your first input was one that shows you were reading the game without saying anything
