Hey Dumbasses

Reports are at 140. Half of you shouldn't be modded if you can't do your job.

i think melody is just passive aggressive and i can't recall anything that i've done or said to her to make her snipe at me. which is weird but such is life.

What's even wrong with sniping? It is fun.

i don't get why you come into my thread complaining about me getting attention to myself. that's sort of the point of a thread, you know.

I wasn't complaining about anything though, except maybe the logic behind your post about "should be asked to be modded" thing.

frankly, i think you're just sniping at me because you are prone to do that for no adequately explored reason.

Nope :)

Here is my take on this

I think most of the mods are well intentioned and are trying their best. There are some instances that were bad within the mod team, but I think most of them really are trying to do their best.

The biggest problem with the mod team right now is that it is unorganized. That has caused a slowdown in doing reports which is why we now have a backup on reports. This can all be solved by a better structure for management so every mod knows what their task is. Split up reports by type and put a mod in charge of managing the mods who do reports for that section. It would create more accountability and productivity. This comes from someone who has experience in management.

Lastly, I would agree that some mods phone it in or go inactive. This is the second part of the problem. Mods who go inactive should be fired. If a mod has a valid reason for not being available that is different. If you create more accountability for the mods to do their jobs as mods, it will keep chaotic scenarios like this one from happening where no work is getting done and nobody knows why it go so far behind or who is fixing it.

Nah

That was kinda unnecessary imo and kind of off track of the thread but whatever i guess

Technically any report is a report.

Making a thread calling people dumb _anything_ is a very, very selfless act indeed.

an hour ago reports for germ were at 74. now they're at 75. one guess as to which report he did.

i've made nice complaints about reports, to specific mods, that have gone unnoticed. it's easier just to make a big thread, bait a mod, and then relax as you know you're right.

If that's your logic, then so be it. You've completed your task, at least.

yeah, again, i'm a goal-oriented guy.
