Broaden your film horizons

Post in this thread and I will suggest a movie you probably haven't seen that is tailored to your personality. If you don't watch it you're a **** , none of my suggestions are bad

matchstick men is definitely a top 10 nic cage movie

not top 5 though, because every single nic cage movie is competing for 1 spot in that top 5 after the mount rushmore that is con air/gone in 60 seconds/the rock/face/off
great post, bill simmons
have i told you about how the fast and the furious franchise is similar to the 2004 red sox

Metropolis. Visionary when it was made and it hasn't aged a day, although it's been aped so much (most notably, by Blade Runner) that some of its concepts have become old hat. No matter; the film remains flawless and mesmerizing.

And when I say "it hasn't aged a day", I do mean it hasn't aged a day. Add sound and color to it and it would almost be indistinguishable from any other modern film. Except, of course, by its quality.

I recommend watching it with The New Pollutants' soundtrack.
