@white people arguing about racism on country HoH

Rondarover 11 years ago
I just saw a major flaw in your argument and was surprised no one'd pointed it out. By "I don't care" I meant that I never found it offending.

The underlying issue imo is how many (not all) white people do not realise the sheer amount of privelege they obtain simply by being white.

It is a p. abstract concept to grasp especially when being white is paradoxical and makes you oblivious (through no fault of your own) to the sheer privelege granted by being so.
why does anything have to be based on skin color though? why did a lot of my black/hispanic friends with lower tests scores and GPA's than me get a lot better scholarships? bc they're minorities? personally i think that system is dumb and bc im white i should be "smarter" than a minority to obtain a higher scholarship amount. idc what race you are, everything should be earned not a privilege bc of ur skin color

Caroline just 9/11'd this thread with her last post.

and im not sure how that list wasnt diverse, you're saying there isnt diversity within any of those countries. maybe a lot of them were predominantly white but that doesnt mean they weren't diverse countries. you're showing your ignorance right now kerry
not including any of: india, pakistan, iran, israel, egypt... made it very not-diverse -___-
i already said i listed popular countries that most people think of first, excuse me for not thinking of pakistan ???????
The problem is who you mean by "people".

Countries don't represent race. Many countries are predominantly one ethnic group, but there are no "white" or "black" countries. There are Asian countries, because those are in the continent of Asia

Most darker-skinned people don't realize the benefits of having dark skin in warm places - issue?

you're overreacting... i'm stating some people might see it as racist because it's not racially diverse, despite how you think it is -____-

Debate on key social issues is always welcome but probs not on a forum game on epicmafia.com
White people arguing racism isn't, hmm, a key social issue. It's not an issue at all.
