Lux Interns are more often than not unpaid tho and that blows Yeah it does. It can be good experience or you can get credit though. I got a stipend for my internship which covered my food when I was overseas with the students.
Temping isn't a bad idea either.

- intern as a job you really want
- admin/reception in an industry you want to be in
ideally: intern in the job you want in the industry you want

i'd hire you as a receptionist or admin assistant. i think it'd be good experience to have while you're in college.
