The purpose of this thread is to create awareness about the roles, actions and meetings. This is needed because the roles page does not clarify everything.

One can post questions and the experts can post answers with evidence.

I recently saw a game where the mafia convinced a noavi that lawyer can lawyer himself. The town could not find the wiki page to help himself.

This thread will be updated with input from the users. Please do not spam this thread with irrelevant posts and stupid questions. Do not post answers unless you are sure and can support it with evidence.

I will start the thread with few important points.

Lawyer

He or she can't visit himself

He or she can pick a partner in lawyer meeting, and that person will appear inno on cop reports that night.

Oracle

Oracle meeting do not appear as a visit on watcher or tracker report

If someone claims watcher and says that he saw oracle visit on someone, then he is fake.

When oracle reveals miller, it appears as miller and not as nilla.

I think the current round does not require any other mechanics related clarification. If it does then please post here.

Generally speaking, if role description has "chooses" in it, it's not a visit. Save for more exotic roles like ghoul, who self visits for example.

I assume sandbox players can contribute in this thread. The noavis and mods can learn a lot from this thread. Recently a moderator did not know that the fiddled person can see the sheriff's name when the gun is fired. That moderator self deleted out of shame.

Yak doesn't self visit when yakking anymore

If tracker tracks a hooked person it no longer appears as "x has visited [blank space]

Both of these are probably well known by now but the changes happened when I wasn't on the site

i think tracker sees yak self visiting. but watcher doesn't

I wish others could edit the OP. Or i wish this was the wiki was available once again. Or it would be better if there was a stickied thread that could be updated by experienced people. People really up on mechanics all the time.

Day shooting is impossible once kicks are reached or when paralyzer locks votes.
Governor cannot turn no lynch into a lynch.
Town drunk can't get hooked or blocked in any way.
Blacksmith vests before any kills are made.

Don't even understand the neg. I was genuinely confused by the question as I thought it was universally understood... The 1 time I'm not trying to be rude to pranay and I get negged >.<
It's a decent thread idea, the wiki should be easily accessible if it isn't.

Also pranay, please add somewhere "if oracle reveals miller, they will be miller, if oracle reveals nilla they will be nilla" in case people are new and don't know it

Without reading this, I, recent trophy winner Caesaropapism, would advice you to ignore anything the user pranay7744 has to say because he is largely regarded as incompetent and dishonest by the majority of the community

Jailer-Interrogator will appear as visiting undefined, if they kill their target, it will appear as them visiting the target.

Anything that requires a visit, oracle cannot do.
