You're literally arguing that a staple Mafia role in the Godfather that has been used in dozens of legitimately good setups that have been comped numerous times shouldn't be used in order to prove your reason as to why Silencer isn't a dumb role that renders players in game to be unable to speak for an entire day, sometimes more

Personally, I think it's a good role that leaves room to improvise as Mafia, not that you'd know anything about playing the game, haha.
It's a dumb role that interferes in CC fights (see: BAC) and scumhunting, and adds an ambiguous element to an otherwise decent game
Hmm true, then again, when I play as the Cop role, I think having a Godfather in the game is bad for morale. Please do not use these two roles together, anyone. Thank you.

I think getting the same reports on the Mafia as the Villager role adds an element of ambiguousness to the game that doesn't need to be there.
