So like, last round in Sex and Lies we dealt with maf kills and mismasons. I had always assumed if a mismason happened and maf killed another person that it was the second person from the kill list at day start was mason. I had evidence too, all of my games had them as mason at the end.

But then other people start saying it's random, and now I'm confused. Another person has said in the Dreamer/SW/LM setup LM would always shout out the Mafia first then others if it had more than one visitor. And Dreamer and Caroler actually point towards random.

So basically, what I'm asking is, do the system messages put Mafia(or mafia related) messages first before town? Or is it completely random so no one knows if the Mafia did it or the Vigilante did?

Also scum-kills always have priority over any other sort of kill, so there's that.

Mason/NKs are different because it includes kills, and by extension, night actions, and aren't random.

Dreamer/LM don't.

host some games with all of those roles in them with spectate on and have someone spectate to take down the order in which people vote on their night actions, what order their names are alphabetically, etc., and compare across games

for the death messages, i'm absolutely certain the mismason comes second. i think it's likely there's some hidden priority in the order the kills are displayed
