the shallow, broad over generalisations are brought about by how similar so many people on this site are on (which i take to be, tumblr/reddit anime watchers who all started using the site because their friends (who obviously have shared interests with them) told them about)
I think that you are generally well-meaning, but quite transparent in your attempts to be funny (bordering on tryhardness) and to be liked by who you perceive to be the 'cool' EM users. This shows your need for acceptance, which might possibly point to the lack of solid social connections irl.
You should be more comfortable just being yourself instead of trying to be someone you're not to please other people.
