it applies to soda 100%. soda hardly plays the stupid game and conveniently gets reads in his friends favour at the end of each round. not that anything would ever be done about it though
it's always modestly sketchy because you know that most of the time you're going to be playing for your friend's win condition subconsciously in that situation though. It's not cheating, but it's just the nature of the game.
I really do think that someone who plays unranked all the time and then suddenly joins comp and gets third is p sketchy

well ofcourse, this wouldn't have happened if gold heart reports were taken care of yesterday, at least they'd have some time to make decisions instead of being hasty but what do i know im just a stupid cat
mm of course. It's kinda crappy though because everyone joins the game to either help their friend get a trophy or subtly throw against him, which is why it's better if they can sort it out ASAP.

if they refund the game near around the time when the round is supposed to reset it they'll just pause the round so the players that got the refund can play the heart if it means they can get a trophy
mm okay, well if they cheated I hope they get caught. It's kinda crappy when only certain people get investigated and others slide under the radar just because people don't feel like looking into certain users/players.
