Poll?

Saw this poll;

Who will be the next president of the USA? 29 Hillary Clinton 18 Mitt Romney

If those are the winners of both primaries, I'm voting independent.

Poll
Would you vote for an independent candidate if the main choices were those two?
Yes50%7
No.42%6

because I mean, let's get real, voting anyone else is basically the same as not voting).
No, it's definitely not. The main purpose of voting for independents is to publicize the political disagreements those candidates stand for, and to let other politicians know you care about those issues.
That is why people have been voting for independent candidates for years.

This is the first time I'll be legally allowed to vote and if those are the options for the candidates (because I mean, let's get real, voting anyone else is basically the same as not voting) I can already tell how frustratingly conflicted I'm going to be. I dislike both.

The republican candidates don't look strong right now to be honest. Quality over quantity ya know, I think Hilary has a good shot at winning (she's obviously gonna get the democratic nom)
deleteddeletedover 11 years ago
where is the "im not old enough to vote and politics bore me" option?
Grannieover 11 years ago
Rand Paul / Gary Johnson

Both better than whatever establishment Republicrat they will put up.

I think whoever the next Republican candidate is will win

If everyone voted Republican for the House + Senate then I think the vote will be the same way for the presidency
a lot can change in 2 years buddy

It's the exact same for Republicans if they voted Mitt
But I'm saying Ron Paul got decently popular in the Republican Party.
There was not one in the Democratic Party who got decently popular calling out THEIR lies.
