Next election I'm going to suggest not taken votes from states who are majority support for one party since we already know their decisions and only allow states that are neutral to vote.
Irony being this would probably still be an improvement on the American political system. But that would be off topic to go down that road >:)

Are there different questions for the different lobbies? I clicked on the one in Sandbox to be sure and it directed me to "You already sent in a form". I believe that the Sandbox crew is going to "Strongly Disagree" about feeling comfortable in joining gold heart games.

We have results that show who voted on what, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Then I hope you made separate (but identical) polls for each one so you can filter out the views which you care less about.

I know you did. I'm saying you shouldn't have posted it here on top of that, seeing as this community clearly isn't the target audience (subforums galore proved that).
Personally, I don't want to think of main forums to only be used by a small niche (mostly competitive players), so I want to invite people who don't normally use them to post also. I understand your concern though.

No. Post it on the Main Lobby wall, or announcements. But why skew it to the place that will answer the most when you already know their opinions?

The Main Lobby forums are probably the worst place to post this, given the massive skew that will be toward the forumites, and also that the views of the forumites are the ones you hear day in, day out. And rarely listen to. :P
So.... What you're saying is only post in the sandbox? And disregard any opinion of main lobby users?

Well yes. But given you know the views of us here, you'd be better off not bothering with the Main forums frankly.
I think it's good to involve anyone even if I realize how noisy main forums can be about their opinions. They're still opinions nonetheless.

Are you going to clear out deadwood mods, tighten harassment rules, stop giving out 1000 notes or add political party mod elections?

If not, I will be disappointed and uninterested.

What sorts of ideas do you guys have to allow newer users to insert themselves in the competitive atmosphere?
We have ideas in mind but nothing we're concrete in. We want to make sure that we're involving the community however so we decided to make a survey as I said before just to get a broad idea. You'll definitely be seeing some changes likely to happen soon, however.

The Main Lobby forums are probably the worst place to post this, given the massive skew that will be toward the forumites, and also that the views of the forumites are the ones you hear day in, day out. And rarely listen to. :P
We posted in the other lobbies too, and also in their forums.
