I am stepping down as admin effective immediately. There are many things that go on behind the scenes that make this job so daunting, and while I’m normally quite content with this because I care a lot about the site and all of you guys, I need to concentrate on my mental and physical health right now. I’m not counting out returning at some point in the future, but as of right now I need time away from the site to focus on my life.
My tenure as admin took place during one of the site’s rare calm periods. Much of that is thanks to the community and the moderators on my team for being so understanding whenever I made mistakes, hasty decisions, or needed time away from the site. I would like to thank you for your acceptance - my vision for the site was different, and it was never able to develop fully, but I appreciate that you, the community, entertained me whenever I made changes that reflected this vision.
Jasprar will stay on as admin. He has been my partner in crime since the start, and was an admin in everything but name up until a week ago, when it was finally made official. I have absolutely no doubt that he will make a fine admin on his own; he really wants the best for the site, and I hope you give him the same understanding and acceptance you gave me when I first took on the position.
At this point I’ve said everything I needed to except one thing: Thank you. Thank you for an amazing two months!

Not sure why you're stepping down. All you guys seem to announce this on the brink of despair, stating you've spent too much time focusing on the site.
Maybe that's part of the overall problem, eh? Shouldn't the mods/admins have to do less work overall? Maybe it's time to finally revamp the report system?
bye vancy. even though I got a little frustrated with you, I still like you, and I definitely apprecise the changes you made after I made my thread. i probably was a little short tempered with you at times, but I felt like you weren't really meeting your potential.

This would be a very bad thing if Jasprar wasn't already admin and lucid was trying to figure out who to admin next. Mostly ever other candidate would be far worse than vancy.
I understand your decision. You deserve your break! Thanks for all your hard work Vancy, this is easily said but I know you've put a whole lot into it.
Besides your hard work and dedication, you're also a good friend. Take care of yourself, you deserve lots of happiness.
