there is a lot to learn about C++, many books have been written on the subject, learning all of it would take quite a lot of time
is there something specific you want to learn about?
it's old as hell so most schools teach it as a basic entry level thing because that way they can use really old material because they're hopelessly out of date
and it's a decent way to learn general programming concepts, anyway
realistically books, ebooks, and online tutorials are the way to go. you'll learn more from just feeling your way around and making mistakes than having someone hold your hand and walk you through it. especially someone that doesn't know what they're doing themself
