well actually it's because he took a soft stance on it then when video got out and people were outraged he changed, and told a bunch of really bad lies to try to cover his butt
I don't really thing anyone thinks it is acceptable to abuse women, and Roger Goodall is being pressured by the public to resign for not taking a harder stance against criminal behavior.
