Heads-up MAFIA CHALLENGE!

Are you tired of idiot teammates blowing games for you, artificially lowering your winrate?

Do you want to show the world how good you REALLY are at mafia, without all the randomness introduced by incompetent teammates?

Then sign up for the heads-up (1-vs-1) mafia challenge! One townie, one scum, NO teammates. May the best man win.

I need 64 players - we are doing a march-madness style bracket. The seeding will be determined by winrate (you must have at least 5,000 points to qualify).

I will choose the setups to be used, which will change each round.

Prizes will be given as follows:

1st place: 100 tokens 2nd place: 50 tokens 3rd place: 20 tokens

Look I understand you are scared as this is a new concept, but I refuse to be badgered into ruining the integrity of the tournament just because you're afraid of a first-round loss.

Manse isn check your PMs. I can't reveal setup details before the tournament starts as that would give time to prepare.

This tournament is NOT about who can memorize optimal play for certain setups... It's about who can think on their feet the wuickest.

Pranay, carrying your teammates and manipulating is part of mafia skills, but not the one that will be measured in this tournament.

This tournament is to find the person with the most individual skills in a 1v1

If you call me an idiot you can forget about having a spot in my tournament. I was thinking about making it 50%+ winrate only to ensure a certain quality of play, so no big loss for me either way. Show some respect please.

also your rules do not explain anything properly.

PS: it is your skill to carry your team mate. your skills can be ascertained even if you are handicapped by a team mate. you need to know how to handle it

It's not limited to vanilla roles so you can have PRs, I think.
