I used to play EM in the beggining of 2014.
Back then the game and site was perfect, the players respected new players and understood when someone made a mistake.
Nowadays its full of ragers. Every slip is condemned with tons of badwords and rage. The players report threat for getting what they want. I'm not sure if this is the same game I used to play. I'm not having a good time anymore.
I hope I'm just unlucky with the players I get, otherwise, I wont be here for too long.
so like a few months ago? they community hasnt changed in that time. i played since the start of EM 3.0 before custom lobbies were a thing. the community isnt any worse.

To be clear: are you getting raged at because you're ruining games left and right that are UNRANKED or Ranked??? :D I may have found your problem right there.
There needs to be a program implemented for noavi's. Such as they can't get any points until then at least win 5 ranked games or something. I'm sick of the vegs and gt. It's driving me crazy! end rant.
I'm not sure it's the 'whole' community, just several bad eggs. There are some really nasty people on this site, but also some really lovely people who just wanna play mafia. I hope you've not had a bad encounter to put you off the site; it'd be a shame if EM got SO unfriendly that people start to leave. :(
