the maybelline liner is essentially a felt tip, it stays on pretty well unless it's super rainy and doesn't smudge at all but it can dry out if the tip is exposed to the air for too long and can be hard to use for a cat eye flick

the staying power of the seventeen one is seriously incredible and it doesn't smudge at all ever plus it's super precise but it's really really hard to get off especially if you make a mistake with it after you've applied eye shadow or whatever because if you screw up all your make up is coming off (which is not good and has made me late going out on multiple occasions) and you have to scrub so hard that it actually burns

and the mac kohl is just a no for anything other than lash line, imo it isn't even great for that and is ridiculously overpriced

trying to find an eyeliner that stays on all day at work that doesn't smudge (not for waterline/lash line although, thinking about it, a long lasting nude waterline eyeliner would be amazing). i use dolly wink rn & it does the job but drys out within a month. also is annoying to get off.

would those do that job?
