Well, actually when u think about it, its a killer with a lot more going for it. However, it dosent HAVE to kill to win compared to the killer. But to answer your question: Yes - ALL power roles must be dead for it to win (including mafia), and the Communist HAS to be alive to win. Its strength lies in spreading propaganda to the villagers and turning them against both mafia and town.

Wins if all non-villagers are dead. Does that mean that all mafia has to be dead as well, along with all village PRs? Or just all village PRs have to be dead? If you have to kill off the mafia too, that makes things kinda complicated since you'd have to kill off all the PRs first which would be extremely difficult. Other than that, it seems like a great role. Also, does the commie have to be alive to win?

RocketSkates - Yes good question. I havent really had the time to think that through. As always there exists only 2 options: Communists working AGAINST each other OR TOGETHER with common night-meetings. I see both as viable options, though I would prefer the communists working together if two or more are in the same game.

Natstar, I do see your point. It does give the mafia a disadvantage. However, I dont see it as a problem. The mafia actually already gets a advantage through the Communist distracting town and possibly even turning villagers into lynching town PR for mafia. It all really comes down to what side the individual villagers chose to be on.

I like this role, its different and interesting. I'd like to see the villagers decide whether to win with town or commie. But what if there are 2 communists in the setup?

The problem with talking to the millers is they can quote what you said meaning they can find they find out they are miller without being checked by a cop which counters nilla mafia so nilla mafia should get the miller message as well.

Actually thought of renaming it Karl Marx since Dragonfang was so generous adding such an awesome Icon hehe. I can see how people could take its current name offensivly though, so yeah, perhaps a name switch would be in order.

Call it something else.

Should be renamed to Ghadafi. /sarcasm

His power really lies in keeping the villagers in check. Either through diplomacy or just pure terror. For example: He could potentially whisper villagers and reason with them that its better to join his side OR threaten them that if they dont "join the revloution" he will kill them. Villagers then have a choice: Go to the cop and tell OR join the revolution ;).
