- At the beginning of each game, the hound would receive a message alerting them that they feel attached to one person, Village, Mafia, or Third-Party. For example, "You feel a sense of loyalty towards [Player A], the [role]." The Hound would win if both it and its owner are alive at game’s end. What is unique about the Hound is what it will do when its owner is killed by means besides lynching (Vigilante's Shot, Killer's Stab, Mafia's Shot, etc.); it will kill itself and the person who attacked their "owner." A message would appear with something to effect of "In a fit of rage over the loss of its owner, [Player A], the Hound, killed [Player B], the [role]!" If the Hound's owner is lynched, it would become a “Stray.” A “Stray” would be unaligned until visited by a non-killing role, who would then proceed to become their new owner. If a “Stray” is visited by a killing role, it dies as per normal.
